John Roadcap is a retired United States Army officer with over 20 years of military service. His military career was characterized by numerous assignments with a focus on leading and training. John’s final military assignment was serving as the academic department chair for the Department of Military Science (Army ROTC) at the University of Northern Iowa. John transitioned from the Army to the training and development field to continue his passion to help improve others by using his skills and experience.

Most recently, John worked as the Corporate Training Manager of Casey’s General Stores, where he was responsible for the training programs for employees working in over 1,930 locations in 14 Midwest states. He maintains a strong relationship with the University of Northern Iowa, and is often called upon as a guest lecturer for the American Democracy Project Committee, the Master’s in Social Work program, and the Veteran’s Student Services Committee.
